In September 2014, Pinfold Street Primary School introduced the new National Curriculum. Topic letters are sent to parents at the beginning of each term.

British Values: Through our curriculum and school values, pupils are made aware of the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
In Key Stage 1, we follow the Read Write Inc. Phonic scheme to get our youngest pupils reading and writing.
Children should complete take-home tasks to support their learning of the curriculum at school. As well as this, if children would like to do some extra home learning, they can access the websites under ‘Useful Links’.
For more information about any aspect of our school curriculum, please ask your child’s class teacher or call the school on 0121 568 6366 and we will be happy to answer your questions.
